Our Senior Pastor

Pastor Michael Leong Senior Pastor Pastor Michael served as a missionary in a creative access nation from 2010 to 2017, followed by theological equipping in the United States from 2017 to 2021. He also served as Country Director for an international mission agency from 2022 to 2024. Pastor Michael considers serving as Senior Pastor of Penang Christian Centre a great privilege in his journey of faith with the Lord. He is passionate about preaching and teaching the Word of God. He believes in developing leaders to build up the body of Christ. Pastor Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (UTM) in 1994 and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS), USA in 2021. Before availing in full-time ministry, Pastor Michael worked 16 years as R&D Manager with a leading multinational semiconductor company. Pastor Michael is married to Rachel, and together they have two children, Elijah and Audrey.
